I made this typographic frame with those who love to travel in mind (it was initially designed as a gift for my sister.) I wanted to pair two different fonts together to give it that outdoorsy feel - an edgy script and a hand-lettered san serif.
The letters were cut on black vinyl material using my Silhouette Cameo and then placed/transferred onto the inside on the back of the glass.
I always feel honored when asked to design for a special event such as a wedding. This classic, romantic and bold wedding invitation was embellished with Swarovski crystals along with satin ribbons to give it an elegant look and feel. The inside has a special die-cut invitation along with matching RSVP and information card.
I went through a few rounds with this piece but overall I knew I wanted to give it a rustic-vintage feel. The typography is a mixture of three different fonts with one of my favorites which is Thirsty Soft.
How I came about making this box was through a couple of trial and errors. After creating a composition for the type, I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the letters on vinyl material. I then weeded out all the letters and transferred the remaining vinyl onto the stained box. After that, I stenciled in the negative space with white acrylic paint.
Designed for my significant other and one of my personal favorites!
